Privacy Policy

Club Survival — last updated: September 2026

This policy describes how Club Survival ("the show", "we") handles data while operating live YouTube broadcasts with chat participation.

What Club Survival is

Club Survival is a single live entertainment channel/show on YouTube, operated by one individual (the "broadcaster"). It is not a multi-user service, has no account registration, and is not offered as a product for third parties to use on their own channels.

YouTube API Services

Club Survival uses the YouTube Data API v3 to identify the channel owner's active livestream and read messages posted in its public live chat. The application processes the message author's YouTube channel ID, message text and timestamp to validate game commands, prevent abuse and activate temporary visual effects in the livestream.

Club Survival does not access, read or modify the channel, videos or data of anyone other than the broadcaster. The account authorized to use this access is exclusively the account of the channel that operates the show.

Data storage and deletion

Valid and rejected game commands may be stored in private server logs for up to three days. These records may include the message author's YouTube channel ID, message text, timestamp and processing result. They are used only for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and operational auditing. Log files are automatically deleted after the retention period and are not sold or shared with third parties.

Separately, a short-lived, in-memory cooldown per viewer (to prevent spam) is kept only for a few minutes of inactivity and is not persisted to disk.

Users may request early deletion by contacting claytonluiz61@gmail.com. Requests will be processed within seven days.

Persistently stored data

The only state saved between broadcasts is the game's own state (e.g. which clubs have been eliminated, the season score). No personal viewer data is part of this saved state.

Revoking access

The channel owner may revoke Club Survival's access at any time through the Google Account permissions page. Revocation prevents the application from making further authenticated requests to YouTube API Services.

Third-party sharing and compliance

We do not sell, rent or share viewer data with third parties. Club Survival's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Users can learn more about Google's data practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
